New Study Shows Racial/Cultural Disparities

Available in 30 languages, Aging with Dignity’s nationally recognized Five Wishes addresses the need for culturally-appropriate advance care planning materials.  It’s written in everyday language, not in legal and medical jargon.  According to the Journal of the Board of Family Medicine, “Five Wishes was more readable, understandable, appealing, and usable. It seemed to capture patient preferences for end-of-life care more effectively and it more readily facilitated patient-clinician conversations.”
